  • June 02, 2022: Create More Accessible Data Experiences
    This webinar will cover the what, why, and how of creating more accessible data experiences such as charts, dashboards, or infographics. Specifically, it will cover what inclusive design, accessibility, and data experiences are, practical tips for requirements gathering and visualization/dashboard design. Creating more accessible data experiences is great for anyone who is getting started in creating charts or creating more accessible data experiences.
  • June 16, 2022: Audio Description as an Aesthetic Innovation
    This session will explore how recent video projects have created access as a part of the whole following the tenets of inclusive design; members of the creative team took responsibility for accessibility as part of the production process eliminating the need to add a separate layer after the fact. The production then become accessible to a wider audience. This notion allowed filmmakers to meet an obligation for inclusion while incorporating innovative techniques thus increasing the production's aesthetic viability. 
  • June 23, 2022: Accessibility of Social Media
    The presenter will talk about the importance of accessibility of social media. Specific steps that lead to accessible social media will be provided. According to Statista, 45% of the worldwide population uses social media. 70% of people in the United States and 67% of people in Northern Europe use social media. Statista also found that, when surveyed, 30% of people said they use social media to research and find products to buy. Thus, smart organizations and companies ensure that their messages, services, and products are as inclusive as possible.
