Exploring the ADA Web Guidelines

Exploring the Americans with Disabilities Act Web Guidelines - Accessibility TC Meetup
-
Online

Following years of twists and turns worthy of a suspense novel, the Americans with Disabilities now has web guidance.

While not a robust, or technically specific document, it is more of a wayfinding statement to help people understand that websites do need to be accessible, and that the Americans with Disabilities Act, supports that.

Guest speaker, Ken Rodgers, ADA Coordinator with the office of Equity and Diversity at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, will walk us through this new guidance and discuss ways that it applies to you, your organization, and/or your clients.

Be positioned to ask questions and offer comments by reading the guidance in advance at: Guidance on Web Accessibility and the ADA | Beta.ADA.gov

Presented by the Accessibility Twin Cities Meetup at 3:30 to 5:00 PM MST (2:30 to 4:00 PM PST).
