Video and Audio Content for Accessibility
Captions and transcripts make video content understandable, searchable, and easier to review. They help students stay focused, revisit key ideas, and choose how they engage with the material. ASU's MediaPlus offers all the tools needed to make course media accessible, viewable, and secure:
- Allows for uploads of both video and audio recordings
- Automatically generates captions that are easy to edit
- Uploaded media are not publicly searchable but shareable with a public link
- No advertisements or popups in or around the media player
- Uploads do not count toward the 2GB Canvas course storage limit
